Hargeisa, (Somaliland Monitor) -Somaliland Presidential Spokesman Hussein Aden Igeh (Hussein Deyr), on Tuesday was presented with a special Certificate of Appreciation from a visiting Swedish parliamentarian.

In a brief ceremony held inside the headquarters of Somaliland’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, visiting Swedish MP from the ruling Social Democrats party, MP Arhe Hamednaca presented certificate of appreciation to Somaliland Presidential Spokesman Hussein Aden Igeh (Hussein Deyr) in recognition for his warm reception during his recent visit to Somaliland.

Speaking at the ceremony, MP Arhe Hamednaca congratulated Somaliland praising it for its enduring traditions of peace, stability and democracy.

Hamednaca also stated that he always wanted to Visit Somaliland, despite receiving Swedish government’s warning against travelling to Somaliland.

Presidential Spokesman Hussein Aden Igeh 2Similarly, the visiting Swedish legislator also presented certificates of appreciation to the State Minister for Foreign Affairs, Prof. Mohamed Mihile Boqore and the Director General of Foreign Affairs Ministry Abdirahman Abdeq Mohamed.

Arhe Hamednaca, born January 25, 1953 in Eritrea, is a Swedish politician (social democrat) and Member of Parliament since 2010. He was elected to parliament for the Municipality of Stockholm.

Is the Founder and Editor-in-chief of Somaliland Monitor. Prior founding Somaliland Monitor he served as the editor-in-chief of The Independent English newspaper, a sister publication of Hubaal daily Somali newspaper.
